Girton150
Anniversary

1869 - 2019

Welcome to our anniversary webpages showcasing 150 pioneering years of excellence and inclusion.

Founded in 1869, Girton was the UK's first residential institution for women offering degree-level education and examination.

Still at the cutting edge of widening participation, Girton thrives today as a centre for world class learning and research within the collegiate University of Cambridge.
